Payment Method
Crunchbase.com accepts the following payment methods for subscriptions:
- Credit card: All major credit card issuers are accepted (i.e. Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, etc.).
- PayPal.
- Google Pay.
- Apple Pay.
These digital wallet payment methods are introduced to Crunchbase to purchase subscriptions quickly and securely. This simplifies the payment process, especially for international customers.
Existing customers can connect to PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay in the Subscriptions & Billing tab of their Account Settings to support plan renewals. New customers can select either PayPal, Google Pay, or Apple Pay as their payment method while signing up for a trial, a paid subscription, and/or to purchase subscription add-ons such as Contacts or Data Boost.
Please note that with Google Pay and Apple Pay specifically, the last four digits appearing in your Account Settings may be different from those on your actual credit card. This is a security measure.

How To Open A Crunchbase Account?
To open an account on Crunchbase.com, follow these steps:
- Click Log In on the upper right of the Crunchbase homepage, then select the Register tab.
- Register with your email, name, and password, or through a social platform of your choice (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter).
- Click the Register button to finish.
After registration, you can add or edit Crunchbase profiles for companies, investors, people, and more. You can also manage email notification preferences, and upgrade to a Crunchbase paid subscription to unlock more features.
To add or edit Crunchbase profiles, complete the next step - social authentication. This involves linking your LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter account.
Remember, registered user accounts and profile pages are completely separate. Once the new profile is created, click the three-dot icon and select 'Edit' at the upper right corner of the profile in order to make further edits.

Crunchbase Return Policy?
Crunchbase.com has a specific Cancellation Policy. Subscription refunds for Crunchbase Lite, Crunchbase Starter, Crunchbase Pro, Crunchbase Pro with Data Boost, and all Marketplace data add-on subscriptions will be granted for requests received by the billing team within 7 days of the payment. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued.
If a Contacts package is purchased and a refund is requested within the 7 day period, reimbursement will be on a pro rata basis for contacts which have not been unlocked during such period.
For citizens of the European Union, a full refund is entitled during the 14 days after the subscription begins. This 14-day period begins when the subscription service starts.
When a subscription is cancelled from My Account and another subscription option is not selected, only future charges associated with the subscription are cancelled. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period.
Crunchbase does not offer prorated refunds for cancelled subscriptions. All subscriptions are recurring and will automatically renew after the end of each paid subscription period. No refund will be received for the current billing cycle as the same access and benefits of the subscription will continue for the remainder of the current billing period.
